If you have a connecting flight through Morocco and stay inside the airport’s international transit area, you generally don’t need a Morocco visa.
Check the visa requirements for Morocco if your connection requires you to:
- Pass through Moroccan border control
- Collect and re-check your baggage during your stopover
- Change airports in Morocco
- Change to a separate ticket
- Leave the airport during your layover
For UK passport holders, Morocco allows visa-free visits for up to 90 days, so a short airport connection or entry during a layover normally does not require a visa.
